Nicole and Eric are getting married next September, and they've asked me to document their day by being their wedding photographer. On Saturday we met for their engagement session, and I was so excited that the weather and fall light were so perfect for their shoot. They were both raised in this area, and Nicole clued me in to some really great scenery that I didn't even know existed just miles from my house!
Nicole and Eric, thank you for choosing me to document your wedding day. I hope you enjoy your engagement portraits as much as I enjoyed shooting them. Below are just a few of my favorites.
Kelly
The serious portrait....which I LOVE. In this one, I think they look like they belong in an ad for Banana Republic.
The laughing portrait....which I also LOVE. I think they busted out smiling at the view they had of a six-month pregnant lady laying on the ground in front of them snapping her camera button like a crazy woman. :)

So it was nearly impossible to choose a favorite out of these! I LOVE the fall scenery. I think the one of them on the bench with the reflection in the water has to be my favorite. I definitely have to get you to take some pictures of us because we don't really have any!
Great pix of Nicole and Eric!

These are awesome, Kelly! Great job! I love the ones with the reflections and the one with the sun behind them by the fence! I'm totally impressed!

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple!
I have gotten addicted to Jessica Claire's blog from looking at your blog....she would be so proud of these pics! They are great!
Thank you, Rhandi!! That's a HUGE compliment in the world of photography! You know, since you're engaged you could hire Jessica Claire to photograph your wedding. I believe her wedding packages start at that $15,000 mark!!! But, if you hire her, you have to promise to let me come watch her work!!! Congratulations on your engagement!
Like everyone else said I liked all of them, but the one with them in the grass is my favorite.
Wonderful pictures Kelly! Certainly brought to tears to my eyes - I remember Nicole as ornery little 4 year old at church.
