Many people have asked about the name. We just really liked the name Colby, but had argued over whether it should be spelled with a "C" or a "K". When we couldn't decide on a different name, we honestly flipped a quarter in the delivery room after her birth: heads we spelled it with a "C" and tails with a "K". Well, the quarter came up heads; so, "Colby" it was! The name Kathleen has always been one of Nick's favorite names; so, that was why it was chosen.
We've had a steady stream of visitors over the last 24 hours, and we've enjoyed seeing everyone and introducing friends and family to Colby. I will post more pictures later, but for now here's the first batch! Thanks for checking in! Kelly

I finally got to see her. Monitors were blocking my view of seeing her getting cleaned up after the birth.
Colby looks tiny in Nick's arms. He hasn't gotten tired of holding her at all.
Cousin Amelia came to meet Colby! I can't believe how much she's grown! She loves interactive toys now!
Amelia was pretty worn out though, and Aunt Gail gave her a bottle and put her to sleep to rest up for a weekend at Grandma Cooper's and Aunt Karen's!

OK Nick now we better not hear about you feeding her when she crys! Ha Ha Ha your time is here! Remember those books you used to like read in you leisure time? Even though she is an infant she can tell when you are paying attention to something else. It will be great though, just wait untill the first time she smiles at you, not a gas smile, but a real smile just because you came into the room. That is the best!
Hey scroll to where you can see Amelia and Colby both at the same time, man it makes Amelia look so big. Oh yeah and maybe it is because it is 1am, but I just do not get the whole Kathleen is your favorite name so that is why you named her Colby thing?!?!

We are so excited for the two of you. Cant wait to meet her! Leo will have another friend to play with. Take care and enjoy the next couple of weeks. They go so fast. I cant believe Leo is 4 weeks old already. I will try and make it down before I go back to work.

That little girl has a TON of hair! I'm so jealous - apparently I was bald until I was 2. Love the name Colby (and it cracks me up about the coin-flip to decide the spelling). Can't wait to meet her in person! Congrats!!
