Colby's First Primary

Yesterday we took Colby for her first voting experience: the Illinois primaries. This picture is of her giving a death stare to someone she didn't think was going to vote as they should. Can you just feel the political disdain? :)

I love the look of death there: "you will vote my way or else."
Thanks for posting

And that's exactly what we told Colby about her voting future: "You will vote my way or else!"

you should teach her to Say "vote Republican" and then have her say it to everyone who walks by. how could anyone resist the cute little girl, they would have to do what she says!

My friend and I were recently talking about the ubiquitousness of technology in our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
