Growing up, I can remember us girls finding robins' eggs occasionally in the grass under the trees. I had completely forgotten about them until I went to get something out the little brick milkhouse we have at the new house, which is what we have now made the garden toolshed. In the window inside was a nest with four robin's eggs; so, I ran back to the house and grabbed my camera. I was really hoping that they would eventually hatch and I could continue to capture their progress, but the other day I noticed that there were only three eggs now; so, I'm worried that something else has also discovered the eggs' whereabouts and the mother will have abandoned the nest. I guess we'll see.
