Jordan + Taylor

This past couple of weeks have been ones of go-go-go!  Every photographer, whether they specialize in weddings or family portraits, knows that October is go-time!  Fall engagement sessions, fall weddings, albums to be finalized in time for showing off to the family at Christmas, family portraits for Christmas cards….so much of it happens in October!!!But, the secret is that we actually revel in it.  The weather gets cooler.  The trees turn those gorgeous shades of orange and yellow.  The grass gets a creaminess to it as the greens fade for the winter.  It’s our favorite time of year! And last weekend was no exception!  I got to spend it with three lovely couples…one of which was the lovely Jordan and Taylor!  I’m so excited for their May wedding!!Here are a few of my favorites from their session last weekend!!Effingham IL wedding engagement portraits 173

This is one of my favorite little spots not to far from my home!  It never disappoints…and especially not in the fall!

Taylor and Jordan aren’t just one of my wedding couples…they’re my neighbors too!…they live just around the corner from  me in my DREAM house…an old Victorian farmhouse complete with marble fireplace, sweeping front staircase, and inlaid designs in the hardwood floors!…my dream!!!

But, despite how sweet Taylor looks in this picture, she actually emailed me last week to tell me she had been snacking on Oreos.  And she didn’t share.  See how she is??  Just teasing, Taylor!!
